As per the TRAI MyCall report, BSNL is the best mobile network in voice quality as compared to other operators in India, that offers the highest voice call quality. As per the latest report of TRAI, all major telecom service providers are lagging behind the state-run PSU – Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) in voice quality rating. BSNL recorded the highest voice quality rating of 3.4 followed by Vodafone (3.3), Reliance Jio (3.1), Airtel (2.8), and Idea (2.5)
TRAI MyCall Portal collects Voice Call Quality feedback ratings from the users via the TRAI MyCall App. Users can rate their voice call quality experience in the TRAI MyCall app after downloading this app from the Play Store. This portal provides map-based data visualization of the overall call quality (indoor, outdoor, travelling) rating.
BSNL Received the best Voice quality rating by BSNL mobile customers
BSNL recorded the highest customer rating for voice call quality in all three segments viz – Indoor, Outdoor, and Travelling. As per the report, customers rated 4.3 out of 5 for voice call quality during travelling which is the highest in the country, 3.4 out of 5 for indoor voice call quality, and 3.3 out of 5 for outdoor voice call quality.
Voice Quality Rating of BSNL, Vodafone, Rjio, Airtel, and Idea
Traveling voice quality rating is the worst for Bharti Airtel (2.4) followed by the idea (2.8) and Reliance Jio (3.1). Vodafone recorded the second-highest travelling voice quality rating of 3.5.
Indoor voice call quality rating is the worst for Idea (2.6) followed by Bharti Airtel (3.0) and Reliance Jio (3.1). BSNL and Vodafone received a maximum customer rating of 3.4.
Outdoor voice call quality rating is the worst for Idea (2.2) followed by Bharti Airtel(2.6), Vodafone (2.9), and Reliance Jio (3.2). BSNL has again received a maximum customer rating of 3.3 among all the major private service providers.
More than 63.2% of BSNL Mobile customers are satisfied with voice call quality whereas just 19.68% of customers rated poor quality and 17.12% of customers reported call drop with the BSNL Mobile network. Overall worst voice call quality experience by Idea where 32.14% of customers reported for poor voice quality and 20.48% reported to call drop in the Idea network. and Just 47.88% of customers rated satisfactory voice quality in the Idea network.
BSNL and Vodafone are the two mobile networks with more than 60% of satisfied customers in voice call quality followed by Reliance Jio (57.51%) and Bharti Airtel (50.11%) as per the TRAI MyCall report.
BSNL is the most trusted telecom operator in the country with the highest voice quality ratings by its customers all over India. Even though govt has not provided a 4G spectrum to BSNL, they started rolling out 4G LTE services by reframing its 2100MHz band which was originally allotted for 3G service.
