Reliance is looking to bring launch the Jio 5G smartphone under the brand name ‘Orbic‘. As we all know recently Google invested $4.5 Billion in reliance Jio platform, from that time a lot of speculation in the market that Jio is planning to bring a budget Android smartphone with a partnership with Google. Now we have seen lots of leaks spotted online about Jio 4G as well as 5G Smartphones.
Finally, we’ve got some exciting leaked images of FCC certifications on Twitter, Reliance Jio is looking to launch three new Jio 5G smartphones named ‘Jio Orbic Myra 5G‘, ‘Orbic Magic 5G‘, and ‘Orbic Maui‘. Interestingly, Jio Obric Myra and Orbic Magic have 5G capability whereas we don’t know about the Orbic Maui, whether it is 4G or 5G.
Reliance Jio Orbic Smartphone (RC545L) specification (expected):
Reliance Jio Orbic smartphone spotted on new Google Play Console listing with model number ‘Orbic RC545L’ revealed the key specifications of Reliance Jio Orbic smartphone. The listing revealed the phones will run on stock Android 10 or probably Android 10 (Go Edition) out of the box which means no extra bloatware and it will be powered by Qualcomm QM215 Mobile Platform with Adreno 306 GPU. it has an HD+ display with an 18:9 aspect ratio with thick bezels on the front. The listing did not reveal any information about RAM, The listing was first spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma.

We have seen in 2016 that Reliance Industries launched 4G Jiophone under the ‘LYF’ branding and no doubt it has been a huge success in the past. Before Lyf, Reliance used to launch feature phones under the ‘Orbic’ branding. Now, the company will launch Android-powered Smartphones under the same Orbic branding. Reliance Jio already disrupted the feature phone market with the first generation JioPhone, but that was a feature phone 4G support. Now, a full-fledged Android Go or Android smartphone is coming from the house of Reliance with 4G support on board.
Reliance Jio 5G Smartphone: Expected Price in India
The company said in the 43rd AGM that it will focus on increasing access for hundreds of millions of Indians who don’t currently own a smartphone. The company is planning to produce more than 200 million Jio 5G smartphones over the next couple of years. Recent leaks spotted online suggest that Reliance JIo will go for a very aggressive price for their entry-level Android Reliance Jio Orbic smartphone and is expected to keep under Rs 3000. The upcoming smartphones may be launched in the upcoming December or early 2021.
