OnePlus 8T has been launched globally including in India today. It is the latest Entrant in OnePlus 8 series with a traditionally T-series model. Generally, Oneplus launched its T-series model in the month of September but this year slight delay due to the coronavirus pandemic. The T-Series model of one plus phone is a slightly upgraded version of its regular series phone. The OnePlus 8T is powered by Qualcomm’s latest snapdragon 865 SoC with a Quad Camera setup and 65W super-fast charging.

OnePlus 8T has a 6.55-inch FHD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Fluid AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 402ppi pixel density and peak brightness of 1100 Nits. It is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with 5G support and Adreno 650 GPU, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and upto 256GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage. It comes in two variants – 8GB+ 128GB and 12GB + 256GB and supports 65W super-fast Wrap charging.
This year OnePlus has redesigned in camera module on the OnePlus 8T with the sensors placed on the top left corner, instead of the center. It has a quad rear camera setup at the rear, the primary sensor is a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 with an aperture of f/1.7. The OnePlus 8T Main camera is a 0.8μm pixel width and supports Optical(OIS) + electronic(EIS) image stabilization. The camera setup also includes a 16-MP ultra-wide lens with an aperture f/2.2 and 123-degree field of view(FoV), a 5-MP macro shooter, and a 2-MP portrait sensor. For selfie, it has a 16-MP Sony IMX471 lens with an aperture f/2.4 housed in a tiny under-display punch hole. The front camera also supports EIS and 4K recording.
Oneplus 8T runs on OxygenOS 11-based on Android 11 which is faster and smoother packed full of useful new features like AOD, easier one-handed operation, and Zen Mode 2.0.
The OnePlus 8T comes with a 4500mAH battery that supports 65 Watt fast Warp Charging which goes from 0 to 100 percent in just 39 minutes and up to 58 percent in just 15 minutes. OnePlus 8t has a stereo speaker with Noise cancelation and Dolby Atmos support. It is just 8.4mm thick and weighs 188 grams. The company is also touting improved heat dissipation by implementing a 285% larger Vapor Chamber in the new phone and says it has the best thermal performance of any OnePlus phone.
On Connectivity options, it includes 5G, 4G VoLTE Dual Sim (nano), Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, GPS, a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. For security, it has an in-display fingerprint reader and face unlock features.
OnePlus 8T Price And Availability Details:
The OnePlus 8T will go on sale for the first time on October 16, 2020, through Amazon.in and Oneplus.in. OnePlus 8T priced at Rs. 42,999 for 8GB +128GB storage variant and Rs. 45,999 for 12GB +256GB storage variant. The customers will also get 10 percent instant cashback on HDFC credit and debit cards during Amazon Great Indian Festival starting from October 16 for amazon prime members.
OnePus 8T comes in three color options comes in two color options – Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver. The 256GB variant comes in a single Aquamarine Green color option.
