Asus ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro launched in Taiwan, Both the new ZenFone 7-series smartphones have a flip camera, AMOLED display with 90 Hz Refresh Rate. The ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro also with 30W fast charging, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, while the ZenFone 7 Pro has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC, and have 5G support.
Asus ZenFone 7 Pro specifications
Asus ZenFone 7 Pro has the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC, coupled with Adreno 650 GPU and 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM run on Android 10 with ZenUI. The phone has a 6.67-inch full-HD+ Samsung AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate with Gorilla Glass 6 protection.
The flip camera of the ZenFone 7 Pro has 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 as a primary sensor with an Aperture f/1.8 and OIS supports, 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens has an 80mm lens, which means 3x optical zoom compared the main camera.
Sony IMX686 sensor can record 8K videos at 30 fps and do 120 fps slow motion at 4K. There’s an HDR video mode as well as improved night mode algorithms On the Asus Zenfone 7 Pro.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Asus has provided 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and expandable via microSD card (up to 2TB).
Despite having an OLED display, the phones have a side-mounted fingerprint reader. There are three microphones that are powered by Asus’ in-house noise reduction technology and are paired with stereo speakers.
ZenFone 7 has a similar specification to Zenfone 7 pro except it has come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with max 128 GB storage.
Asus ZenFone 7-series price, availability details
ZenFone 7 has been priced at TWD 21,990 (roughly Rs. 55,700) for the 6GB + 128GB storage variant, while TWD 23,990 (roughly Rs. 60,100) for the 8GB + 128GB storage. On the other hand the ZenFone 7 Pro,comes in a single, 8GB + 256GB storage variant is priced at TWD 27,990 (roughly Rs. 71,000).
Both ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro will be available for purchase in Taiwan shortly, though there are no details about their global launch.
