BSNL 6 paisa cashback offer which was started on 1st November 2019 is now discontinued on pan India with the effect from 31st August 2020.
As per the latest info, the 6 paisa Cashback offer is discontinued for all BSNL Landline, Broadband, and Bharat Fiber (BSNL FTTH) customers in all the telecom circles. It means, now BSNL users may not get cashback for their Voice calls made after August 2020.
What was the BSNL 6 paisa Cashback offer?
BSNL initially launched this offer on a promotional basis from 1st November 2019 when it’s rival Reliance Jio, Airtel & Vodafone idea started to charge 6 paisa/minutes for outgoing calls from their network to other networks from its customers. Since this cashback offer got tremendous response from customers, the BSNL extended the same for a period up to 31-08-2020.
Under this scheme, BSNL customers get 6 paisa cash back for every voice calls done from BSNL landline or broadband or FTTH connection for a duration of more than 5 minutes. The scheme was – 6 paisa cashback per call with duration 5 minutes and above and it is not 6 paisa for every 5 minutes of a single call.
Now, BSNL authorities have decided to withdraw this scheme with effect from 31-08-2020 onwards in all telecom circles.
