Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has extended the availability of its Rs. 499 broadband plan that offers up to 40Mbps speeds. The availability of the plan has extended in a few circles in India including Kolkata, and Sikkim. The state-owned telecom operator has named the FTTH broadband plan ‘300GB Plan CS337′. This plan was launched on a promotional basis, however, the availability of the plan has now been extended to September.
BSNL has updated its website to confirm that the BSNL ‘300GB Plan CS337′ broadband plan availability has been extended till September 9. The extension is applicable for select circles including West Bengal, Kolkata, and Sikkim.
A similar plan with a slightly tweaked name — ‘300GB CS337 CUL MONTHLY’ — listed in the Rajasthan circle has also extended to September 2. The BSNL ‘300GB Plan CS337’broadband plan and the BSNL ‘300GB CS337 CUL MONTHLY’ broadband plan offer the same benefits. The plans offer up to 40Mbps speeds till 300GB data, after which the speeds go down to 1Mbps. The monthly plan comes with unlimited data download and unlimited local + STD calls to any network.
BSNL Regularized 100GB CUL Plan across Multiple Circles in India
BSNL had introduced the 100GB CUL plan on a promotional basis in early 2020 with the plan initially said to be valid till March 31, 2020. However, the operator extended the 100GB CUL plan to late June before regularizing it in early July
The standard Rs 499 plan is currently available across India except Kolkata, Rajasthan, Sikkim, West Bengal, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The standard Rs 499 plan dubbed as “100GB CUL” enables users to browse up to 20 Mbps till 100GB with the operator capping the speeds to 2 Mbps upon reaching the limit. Additionally, the 100GB CUL plan also offers unlimited local and STD calls to any network across India
BSNL also extends 200GB CUL Plan in Kerala and Lakshadweep circle.
Similar one more 499 plan CS358 which offer 200GB CUL in the Kerala circle and Lakshadweep extended to September 26, 2020. In this plan users will get up to 20 Mbps till 200GB beyond speeds will capping to 2 Mbps. Additionally, the 200GB CUL plan also offers unlimited local and STD calls to any network across India.
It remains to be seen whether 200GB CUL CS358 plan and 300GB Plan CS337 will regularized in future or not in the circles where the plans are currently offered.
