MediaTek has unveiled its latest Mediatek Dimensity 700 5G chipset for the Remarkable Performance and Connectivity for Mainstream 5G Smartphones. The Dimensity 700 5G is based on a 7nm architect, which is up to 28% more power-efficient than an equivalent 8nm process, allowing the high performance, and extending battery life to keep you connected for longer. MediaTek has claimed that this chipset can be used by the device makers on both their premium to mid-range and flagship devices. Basically, MediaTek has said that the Dimensity 700 5G is aimed at mass-market devices so that 5G can become more accessible for users around the world.
MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G Features
The MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G comes with powerful features that include the latest 5G carrier aggregation (2CC 5G-CA) and 5G dual SIM standby (DSDS). 5G-CA (2CC) enables faster average speeds, over 30% greater throughput layer coverage, and a seamless handover between two 5G connection areas across a coverage layer. This will ensure that the users get the fastest 5G speeds along with exclusive Voice over New Radio (VoNR) service from both the connections. VoNR is much faster establishing the call and provides the best ever voice and video quality while talking.
The MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G integrates two highly capable Arm Cortex-A76 ‘BIG’ cores in its octa-core CPU operating up to 2.2GHz and support LPDDR4X memory up to 2,133MHz and fast UFS 2.2 2-lane storage enabling 1GB/s data streaming 4X faster than typical mainstream smartphones with eMMC.

The MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G support max 64MP camera, the chipset can support both 48MP and 64MP primary sensors in addition to AI camera features Hardware-based imaging accelerators, such as a multi-frame noise reduction, ensures captures in low light and at night are clear with low noise. A hardware depth engine ensures accurate, real-time bokeh in Portrait previews and pictures, plus anti-distortion, facial detection, and other accelerators built-in that work together to enhance the photography and video capture results.
Multiple Voice Assistant Support
It can also support multiple voice assistants such as Google Assistant; assistants from Amazon, Alibaba, Tencent, and more.

Also, the chipset can support Wi-Fi 5 (a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth V5.1, and a maximum download speed of 2.77 Gbps. It also supports Indian navigation system NavIC along with GPS, BeiDou, Glonass, and Galileo.
