Realme SLED 4K Smart TV expected specification

Realme claims SLED brings revolutionary 4K display technology that will refine home cinema and provide a better experience beyond your imagination. It supports 1.08 Billion colors and 108 percent NTSC wide colors Gamut which is 38 percent higher than the other average 55-inch TV.

Realme’s 55-inch Smart TV comes with  HDR10+ support, and get stunning visuals with Realme’s advanced image processing technology ‘Chroma Boost Picture Engine’ with a thin bezel Below 10mm and 95 percent screen-to-body ratio.

For better immersive sound it couples with 1 speaker +1 tweeter on each side making a total of 4 speakers of a combined output of 24 watts with Dolby Audio support.

Realme says it has worked with John Rooymans, Chief Scientist of Spectral Power Distribution (SPD) Technology to develop its SLED panel. The company said that the Realme SLED 4K Smart TV uses RGB backlighting, which is then turned into white instead of using a blue backlight which is then turned into white. The company says that this reduces the harmful effects of blue light and provides color purity.

“The white backlight formed from RGB three basic colors combination has quite a high ability of color representation hence the Realme SLED 4K Smart TV achieves a more notable wider color gamut and eye protection than QLED”

Realme says that the RGB lighting on a SLED delivers a more balanced color distribution between red, green, and blue. The smart TV has also passed the TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification, and Realme says that SLED technology is the only thing apart from OLED to have passed this certification
